its funny how one of the most universal feelings between people is loneliness.

at some point everyone feels lonely. not necessarily in the sense that no one cares, but that no one understands. and no, this is not to sound like an overly emotional high school student. these are the moments when people are down on themselves. whether its realizing youre not as great as you thought were, not as great as you want to be. not where youre aiming for. realizing youre scared, and you havent overcome such fears.  at moments like these you have a choice. you can take a break and sit there some more, relaxing in a hot tub of your own self pity, or.. you quit being a bitch and suck it up. this song is about sucking it up. holding your head up high. smiling. and doing better.
